What is Holistic Massage?

Taking a holistic approach means that I, your therapist consider you; the client’s whole being; not only your outward physical symptoms but also your emotional well being, stress levels, environment, nutritional and lifestyle habits.  All of these things have a direct impact on you the “person” as a “whole” and so enable me to perform the most therapeutic treatment.

I specialise in Holistic, Aromatherapy and Traditional Indian Head Massage. All of these types of massage help the body and mind to relax and recuperate so can help to ease physical symptoms like aches, pains, tight muscles, migraines, digestive problems and sinus problems (including snoring) to name a few. Massage is also known to be extremely beneficial for emotional stresses, tensions and worries.

Holistic massage includes a detailed consultation which allows me to get to know you and how you are feeling both physically and emotionally.  This enables me to tailor the treatment to you and respond to your specific troubles at each and every appointment.

Aromatherapy massage lets us select the best pre-blended aromatherapy oil for YOU to get that “feel good” factor together so that you can leave your treatment feeling thoroughly relaxed and pampered. Pre-Blended Aromatherapy oils contain essential oils which are absorbed through the skin into the blood stream so can really enhance your treatment.

Indian head massage helps to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. It is a seated massage, fully clothed that is especially good for relieving stress, tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraine and sinusitis. Clients report that the experience is deeply calming and relaxing, leaving them feeling energised and revitalised and better able to concentrate.
